Wetherell and Lockwood agree to join ‘Foss

The club are excited to announce First Team Managers Kieron O’Brien & Andrew Palfreyman have continued to add to the squad with the additions of goalkeeper Tony Wetherell & winger Jack Lockwood.


Wetherell has agreed to join ‘Foss and close friend O’Brien at the club as goalkeeping cover joining the club with a wealth of experience having represented Harrogate Railway, Tadcaster Albion & Goole Town in his earlier career.


Lockwood follows Andrew Palfreyman to club from local Division Two rivals Barmby Moor. Lockwood is well know to ‘Foss having impressed when the two sides met last season in a league cup encounter where Lockwoods impressive 30 yard strike sealed a Barmby Moor victory. Lockwood made his Wilberfoss AFC debut last night in the clubs penalty shoot triumph over Pocklington Town.
