Foss gained revenge on last weeks Mike Morris Cup defeat on a wet Monday evening with a superb 5-0 win.

After an edgy first 10 minutes Wilberfoss dictated from there on in with Willoughby and Newby controlling the game and constantly pulling the strings from centre midfield. A new central pairing of Walker and Howat looked solid in central defence and dealt with everything the Pock attackers put at them.

Drydal and Parkin regularly caused problems on the wings and the Pocklington Town simply couldn’t deal with Houlder’s pace & movement and Haughian strength.

GOALS: Houlder x3, Walker & Haughian

MOM – Joe Drydal – a tough decision with 3 or 4 in contention but Joe’s constant directness and brilliant delivery won him the vote.
